Our single factor rates for international shipping include expert packing of fragile, breakable goods at your home and wrapping of all furniture for international shipment.  All packing materials and labor charges are included in your rate.

Select Move provides basic liability coverage for loss or damage of all internationally transported goods.  If additional transportation protection is requested, we also offer programs to cover items exceeding our liability protection.

Transit Protection Options
Basic Liability Basic liability covers loss or damage while in our care.  This is not insurance, our liability is $.60 per pound per article.
Depreciated Value Protection Coverage provides for repair or replacement according to current market value cost of equivalent item at destination, based on the depreciated value of the item.
Replacement Cost Protection This covers the full cost of repair or replacement of lost or damaged items, based on the current cost of an equivalent item at the country of destination.  Replacement Cost Protection coverage insures against direct physical loss from pack date until delivery date.  This includes coverage for 90 days of storage at origin and 30 days of storage at destination. An extension beyond these time limits is available.

A valued inventory will be provided prior to your relocation and should be completed prior to pick-up to ensure full protection.  High value items, items valued in excess of $3.50 per pound, must be itemized separately. 

Deductibles are also available and will reduce the costs of insurance.

Additional Service Options
Pre-Departure Cross Cultural Training Cross-cultural training contributes substantially to the success of an international assignment.  Programs are delivered by highly qualified trainers and consultants using interactive learning techniques to facilitate greater involvement and achieve the desired long term goals.

Special programs are also available for children, teens, and certain individual situations such as dual career, separation and single's concerns.
Destination Assistance For a newcomer, the logical aspects of an international move can be overwhelming.  On-site professionals in over 100 cities worldwide can provide valuable assistance.  These contacts find suitable communities and living arrangements, locate schools, assist with registrations and licenses and generally relieve some of the anxiety and stress by expediting positive integration into a new environment.
Language Training Although English is spoken in most parts of the world, foreign language competency will help avoid mistakes and misunderstandings.  Training is offered in over 25 languages, including English as a second language.  These programs are delivered by qualified instructors and are individually tailored to achieve optimum results.
Repatriation Training A certain amount of culture shock is inevitable upon re-entry into a home country.  The repatriation program addresses the personal, professional and financial changes that can be expected.  This program begins several months prior to repatriation and continues upon return.
